Terms of Service

PokéRogue Offline is an unofficial, community-built wrapper that packages the web game PokéRogue for offline/desktop/mobile use. It is not affiliated with, endorsed by, or sponsored by the developers of PokéRogue or Pokémon/Nintendo/Game Freak/The Pokémon Company.

The app is provided "AS IS" and "AS AVAILABLE," without warranty of any kind, express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement, or that the app will be error-free, uninterrupted, or secure.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the developer(s) of PokéRogue Offline be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of data, save files, profits, or goodwill, arising out of or in connection with your use of, or inability to use, the app.

You agree to indemnify, defend, and hold harmless the developer(s) and maintainers of PokéRogue Offline from and against any and all claims, liabilities, damages, losses, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising out of or related to: (a) your use or misuse of the app; (b) your violation of these Terms; (c) your violation of any applicable law or third-party right; or (d) any content, data, or conduct associated with your use of the app. This indemnification obligation applies regardless of whether the underlying claim arises from your negligence or otherwise.

You agree not to:

• Use the app for any unlawful purpose or in violation of any applicable local, state, national, or international law
• Attempt to abuse, disrupt, overload, or interfere with any backend services, APIs, or infrastructure the app communicates with (including but not limited to Google's APIs used for save backup/restore)
• Attempt to reverse engineer, circumvent, or abuse authentication or authorization mechanisms for purposes other than your own legitimate use of the app
• Use the app to harass, abuse, or harm any other person or entity
• Redistribute the app in a modified form that misrepresents its origin or removes attribution

Violation of this section may result in loss of access to any shared services associated with the app, at the maintainers' discretion.

The app may interact with third-party services (e.g., Google Drive) for optional features such as save backup. Your use of those services is subject to the applicable third party's own terms and privacy policy. The developer(s) of PokéRogue Offline are not responsible for the availability, conduct, or policies of third-party services.

The app is provided on a best-effort, community basis. The maintainers may modify, suspend, or discontinue the app, or any feature of it, at any time without notice.

These Terms may be updated from time to time. Updates will be reflected on this page, versioned alongside the source code at github.com/PokeRogue-Offline/pokerogue-offline. Continued use of the app after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

No specific jurisdiction is designated. To the extent any dispute arises, it shall be resolved under the law otherwise applicable given the circumstances of the parties involved.
